Product Manager - CFD Trading

Role Overview

IG Markets is our new mobile‑first multi‑product trading platform designed for active investors in Singapore. This high‑impact role requires a product manager to lead the launch and growth of leveraged CFD trading on the platform, navigating complex regulatory frameworks (including MAS) and delivering sophisticated trading products within compressed timelines.

Responsibilities

Own and drive the CFD product launch for IG Markets, balancing regulatory requirements with user experience excellence.
Balance core product builds that are standard across markets with market‑specific customisation.
Define and prioritise features based on regulatory constraints, technical feasibility, user needs, and business objectives.
Establish success metrics and KPIs; continuously monitor and optimise product performance post‑launch.
Coordinate delivery across globally distributed teams spanning Singapore, Australia, Dubai, UK, India, and South Africa.
Work with Engineering to define technical specifications, system architecture, and integration requirements.
Participate in technical design reviews and provide product context for architectural decisions.
Champion the user experience; ensure CFD trading is accessible, intuitive, and mobile‑optimised.
Conduct user research and testing to validate assumptions and iterate on designs.

Qualifications

5+ years in product management, with at least 2 years of hands‑on experience on mobile app.
Proven track record launching full‑stack products from concept to market.
Strong technical fluency—able to discuss APIs, system architecture, and technical trade‑offs with engineering teams.
Cross‑functional leadership across engineering, design, compliance, and business stakeholders.
Agile delivery experience with demonstrated ability to ship products in fast‑paced environments.
Experience with regulated products, particularly in trading, investments, or financial instruments is a plus.

Preferred Experience

Direct experience with CFDs, derivatives, or leveraged trading products.
Knowledge of MAS regulatory requirements or other financial regulatory frameworks (ASIC, FCA, JFSA).
Experience launching mobile‑first financial applications or trading platforms.
Background working in multi‑jurisdictional or multi‑market environments.
Previous roles managing distributed or global teams.
Technical background in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Location & Logistics

Based in Singapore with hybrid working arrangements.
Reports directly to the Product Director, APAC & Middle East.
Regular collaboration with teams across APAC, Middle East, UK, and India.
Some flexibility for remote work within Singapore; occasional travel to regional offices.
