Trade Compliance Specialist

Contract opportunity with SOC's client. This role is remote, with a preference for candidates located in Melbourne, Florida;
Arlington, Virginia; or Anaheim, California (Southern California). Occasional travel to client sites and up to 10% travel may be required.

• Support the Global Trade Compliance (GTC) Program Sustainment Team in maintaining trade compliance policies, procedures, and internal communications.
• Assist with the development, review, and publication of GTC procedures and policy documentation.
• Support project management activities, including project tracking, task management, and change management processes.
• Identify opportunities for system and process improvements, including automation of internal workflows and business processes.
• Maintain and manage SharePoint resources, including calendars, documentation repositories, and organizational structures.
• Support trade compliance training programs, including summits, conferences, and in-person, virtual, or hybrid training events.
• Assist with drafting and testing training courses and related educational materials.
• Maintain training records and repositories, ensuring accurate documentation and coordination with HR Talent Enablement and business segments.
• Provide administrative and project support to the Director of Program Sustainment, Corporate GTC Directors, and Corporate Senior Director as required.
• Assist with activities related to consent agreement obligations and internal compliance initiatives.
• Travel as needed to support meetings or program functions at client facilities.

• Sr. Associate - Trade Compliance (Level
  2)
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience, OR
  • Graduate degree with 0-2 years of related experience, OR
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and Customs regulations.
  • Awareness of OFAC and BATFE regulations.
• Specialist - Trade Compliance (Level
  3)
  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of related experience, OR
  • Graduate degree with 2+ years of related experience, OR
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficient knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and Customs regulations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
