We partner closely with sales, onboarding, account management, and solutions teams to deliver meaningful impact for our merchants every day. The team operates primarily in Phoenix, AZ and thrives in a high‑energy, collaborative environment where partners are first, actions are swift, and results are accountable.

the Role

As Manager, Inside Post‑Sale, you will lead a high‑performing team responsible for growing and retaining one of Door Dash’s most important merchant segments. You will own performance outcomes, coach and develop talent, and shape the strategies that power revenue growth and product adoption. The role blends sales leadership, operational rigor, and cross‑functional partnership and is ideal for a leader who loves building teams and improving systems in a fast‑scaling environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead with Impact
    • Manage and develop a team of Inside Sales Executives focused on revenue growth and marketing product adoption.
    • Set clear performance expectations and drive accountability to KPIs.
  • Coach & Develop Talent
    • Provide consistent coaching, feedback, and career development support.
    • Foster a culture of high performance, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Build & Scale
    • Interview, hire, onboard, and ramp new team members.
    • Design and refine processes that improve efficiency and team effectiveness.
  • Drive Strategy Through Data
    • Analyze performance metrics and pipeline health to inform business decisions.
    • Identify trends and recommend strategic improvements to Sales and Operations leadership.
  • Experiment & Optimize
    • Pilot new outreach strategies, messaging, and workflows to unlock growth.
    • Champion operational improvements that enhance the merchant experience.
  • Collaborate Cross‑Functionally
    • Partner with Strategy & Ops, Product, Marketing, and Support teams to ensure merchants have the tools and processes they need to succeed.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of inside sales experience.
  • 2+ years leading and developing sales professionals.
  • Track record of driving performance in a metrics‑driven environment.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and thriving in scaling organizations.
  • Analytical mindset and data‑driven decision making.
  • Authentic, grounded leadership that builds trust quickly.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and influencing without direct authority.
  • Proficiency in performance management and talent development.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace.
  • Experience in SMB, marketplace, or tech‑enabled services environments.
