Position: Engagement Consultant - Remote (CT, MA, NY or VT)

Summary

The Engagement Consultant will support a book of business, derived through capacity modeling and market nuances that helps to drive growth, retention, and convergence efforts. The role will also spearhead innovative solutions, provide year‑round engagement support, and serve as the point of contact for all Engagement and Education related inquiries from their book of business. This role will report directly into the National Engagement and Education Practice and maintain a close partnership with local account teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage a book of business
  • Effectively manage a client‑facing book of business and support Engagement & Education efforts as part of a broader account team.
  • Develop and execute year‑round, multi‑channel engagement strategies beyond open enrollment and measure success by providing utilization reporting.
  • Support the sales process through custom RFP support, prospect meetings, and finalist presentations in partnership with the Engagement Manager.
  • Increase strategic wellbeing consulting knowledge and identify opportunities to expand employee engagement, especially total population health and wellbeing within Education & Engagement.
Help to drive growth, retention, and convergence efforts
  • Ensure communications and population health are well represented within client meetings.
  • Understand and articulate engagement and education tools, resources and solutions across business lines.
  • Support Employee Value Perception Study deployments and strategically position the study as an opportunity to recalibrate spend and reinvest in the workforce.
  • Triage market requests to appropriate resources and menu of services that help drive adoption of national resources and cross‑departmental solutions.
SME – Field Enablement
  • Develop and provide thoughtful solutions inclusive of vendor partnerships and drive innovation.
  • Maintain ongoing connections with local market sales and retention leadership teams to account for all market nuances.
  • Disseminate and reinforce best practices, resources, and training from the National Engagement team through a multi‑channel approach aligned with market infrastructure.

  • Strong understanding of all engagement solutions across One Digital business lines.
Location
  • Reside in CT, MA, NY, VT.
  • Near a One Digital office.
  • Hybrid: will be in office at least one day a week.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
Education, Training and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • One year or more of experience in employee benefits, insurance, brokerage, or a relevant field.
  • Experience with in communications, population health, wellbeing or employee experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of working in Canva and Simple booklet.
  • Life and Health Producer license is a plus.

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $70,000 to $80,000 per year.

In addition to base pay, eligibility for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus is based on individual and company performance.
