Position: Engagement Consultant - Remote (CT, MA, NY or VT)

Overview

Engagement Consultant – support a book of business, derive capacity modeling and market nuances to drive growth, retention, and convergence. Spearhead innovative solutions, provide year‑round engagement support, and serve as the point of contact for all Engagement and Education inquiries related to the book of business.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a client‑facing book of business and support Engagement & Education efforts as part of a broader account team.
  • Develop and execute year‑round, multi‑channel engagement strategies beyond open enrollment and measure success by utilization reporting.
  • Support the sales process through custom RFP support, prospect meetings, and finalist presentations in partnership with the Engagement Manager.
  • Increase strategic wellbeing consulting knowledge and identify opportunities to expand employee engagement related to total population health and wellbeing across Education & Engagement.
  • Drive growth, retention, and convergence efforts: ensure communications and population health are well represented within client meetings.
  • Understand and articulate engagement and education tools, resources and solutions across business lines.
  • Support Employee Value Perception Study deployments, positioning the study as an opportunity to recalibrate spend and reinvest in the workforce.
  • Triage market requests to appropriate resources and a menu of services to drive adoption of national resources and cross‑departmental solutions.
  • Serve as a subject‑matter expert in field enablement: develop and provide thoughtful solutions inclusive of vendor partnerships and drive innovation.
  • Maintain ongoing connections with local market sales and retention leadership teams to account for all market nuances.
  • Disseminate and reinforce best practices, resources, and training from the National Engagement team and through a multi‑channel approach aligned with market infrastructure.

Location

Client must reside in CT, MA, NY, or VT and be near a One Digital office. Hybrid model: ability to be in office at least one day a week; willingness to travel up to 30%. Office locations:

Education, Training and Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 1+ years of experience in employee benefits, insurance, brokerage, or a related field. Experience in communications, population health, wellbeing, or employee experience is required. Knowledge of Canva and Simple booklet, as well as a Life and Health Producers license, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Typical base pay nationwide: $70,000 to $80,000 per year. Base pay depends on skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. Eligible employees may also receive variable compensation, commission, and an annual bonus based on individual or company performance. Additional benefits include healthcare, wellbeing, retirement, other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non‑exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs.

Reimbursement for job‑related expenses is provided per company policy. Employees may receive perks and discounts.
