Key Account Manager
Join the team behind iconic brands such as Page, Popla, Kleenex, Huggies, and Kotex at Kimberly- k. The role focuses on delivering better care for billions of people by building and managing a portfolio of ground‑breaking brands within the Consumer business in the Netherlands.
Location:
A hybrid model (3 days remote / 2 days at Ede Office weekly) for candidates based in the Netherlands.
- Establish and maintain sound business relationships at relevant levels within the customer’s organization.
- Develop, negotiate and implement customer business plans, including trading terms, within company guidelines and customer objectives.
- Analyze internal and external information to provide customers with the knowledge to execute business plans.
- Implement category and brand strategies at key customers.
- Maintain and control sales promotional activities and promotional funds.
- Collaborate with Demand Planning, Supply Chain and Customer Service on volume forecasts, order‑to‑cash and deliveries.
- Ensure that all customer requirements are communicated and acted upon.
- Solid commercial experience in Retail / B2C environment within FMCG, with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Experience managing and negotiating at headquarters level with major Dutch national retailers (e.g., Ahold).
- Well‑developed selling, negotiation and analytical skills working with key and national customers.
- Sound understanding of consumer, customer and shopper insights, brand activation, supply chain, operations, category analysis and financial KPIs.
- Ability to connect with stakeholders at different levels both internally and externally.
- Entrepreneurial, accountable and winning mindset.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with BI, SAP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
