As a Supply Corps Officer, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of essential supplies, whether it's sonar parts for maintenance, medical supplies for humanitarian missions, or meals for Sailors. This challenging position requires a keen understanding of logistics to support operations around the globe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze demand for supplies and forecast future needs.
  • Ensure timely ordering and receipt of equipment required for ship maintenance.
  • Oversee logistics, retail services, and culinary operations.
  • Manage the inspection, shipping, handling, and packaging of supplies.
  • Direct personnel in inventory receipt and supply issuance.
  • Evaluate bids and proposals from suppliers.
  • Maintain budgets and financial records.
  • Optimize space utilization and supply distribution.
  • Determine efficient and cost-effective transportation methods for cargo.
  • Oversee special handling of critical items such as medicines and explosives.

During annual training, you may serve globally, either at sea or on shore stations.
