The Kramp Indirect Procurement team is looking for a pro‑active and commercially minded full‑time team member. You will collaborate with stakeholders from various departments, e.g., Technology, Supply Chain and Marketing to support them with their requests. RoleAs a Buyer Indirect Spend, you will support the business with procurement activities such as supplier selection, (re) negotiations of contracts/work statements and commercial advice. In this role, you will be responsible, amongst other activities, for the following:
- Leading sourcing activities (RFI / RFP / single source negotiations / supplier contracting)
- Identifying cost savings opportunities
- Contract management
- Spend analysis
- Supplier relationship management for key suppliers
- Managing your indirect procurement categories
- Procurement category strategy development in alignment with business strategy
- Ensuring compliance with Kramp’s procurement policies and procedures
The buyer indirect spend is part of the indirect procurement team within Group Management, reporting to the procurement manager indirect spend. The team consists of four people in total and works on their own procurement categories and projects with various stakeholders across the whole organisation. You will regularly meet in the office or online and discuss complex issues with your manager and direct team members.
You will work both independently and together as a team across the whole organisation, in line with our core values of collaboration, care and ownership.
You are available for 40 hours per week and based in the Netherlands, and you can work from our headquarters in Varsseveld or from our office in Utrecht.
- Completed a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Strong presenting, negotiating and persuading skills
- A strategic mindset and experience with developing a category strategy
- Commercial skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- A data‑driven and analytical mindset
- Excellent knowledge of procurement processes
- Experience with e‑sourcing tools is regarded as an asset
