The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Trade Compliance Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Leads country of origin determinations through analysis of product data, manufacturing processes, and supplier information, ensuring accuracy within ERP systems
- Implements and supports customs valuation and export compliance processes, including responding to inquiries, managing disclosures, and maintaining classification and licensing data
- Determines compliance risks and opportunities through audits, data analysis, and review of import/export activities, supporting corrective actions as needed
- Supports responses to government inquiries, regulatory filings, and cross-functional compliance initiatives, including IT/ERP-related projects
- Supports development of policies, procedures, training, and KPI reporting to sustain an effective global trade compliance program
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher AND three (3) years of experience in global trade compliance, logistics, or supply chain
- High School Diploma/GED AND seven (7) years of experience in global trade compliance, logistics, or supply chain
- Master's degree in International Business, Trade, Supply Chain, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years of experience in a private, public, government, or military environment supporting trade compliance activities
- Three (3) years of experience with country of origin determination and customs valuation regulations
- Experience with U.S. trade compliance requirements and global import/export regulations
- Experience supporting export compliance processes (e.g., classification, licensing, restricted party screening, or end-use review)
- Experience conducting audits, compliance reviews, or supporting corrective action activities
- Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, GTS) or similar tools to maintain trade compliance data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret regulatory requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to work across cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Skills include attention to detail, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international
