Position Overview
This position will be responsible to ensure that our customers are accurately invoiced and loan information creations are processed and funded. Responsibilities include identifying trends in billing issues and resolving these issues with IT, Customer Care or other organizations, user acceptance testing new IT projects, and providing coaching to various other teams.
Key Responsibilities- Coaching and training for departments on deficiencies in training
- Daily monitoring of billing exceptions reports and correction of any errors
- Identify and report problems to appropriate audiences
- Researching account activity to protect the company from potential fraud
- Provide guidance on various project initiatives prioritize issues
- Responsible for setting goals and objectives for staff under direct supervision and for ensuring goals and objectives are met
- Approves Vacation, sick time and approves weekly time cards for department personnel
- Effectively lead and retain BDCU staff by fostering a team environment and providing opportunities for staff to develop new skills
- Works extremely well under pressure, meet multiple and often competing deadlines
- At all times demonstrates cooperative behavior with supervisors, subordinates, and colleagues
- Work closely with Vivint Technology (VT) to provide logic on updating exceptions and creating new ones with new products offered at Vivint
- Education & Experience
- Billing/accounting principles experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred Experience
- Salesforce (preferred but can be taught for the right candidate)
- Zuora (preferred but can be taught for the right candidate)
- Skills & Competencies
- Advanced skills with MS Office specifically Excel
- Salesforce experience
- Zuora Experience
- Billing Experience
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and/or accounting principles
- Must be highly detail oriented with exceptional follow up and organizational skills
- Ability to take a data set and analyze and extrapolate data to determine a course of action
- Open office environment or fully remote work options available.
- Some overtime required with seasonality and as special projects arise.
- Travel:
Less than 5% - Mandatory in-person meetings in office monthly.
- Monday-Friday 4 hours a day
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
