Remote Prospect Research Analyst

Enhance fundraising strategies as a Remote Prospect Research Analyst. Analyze and identify prospects while collaborating with a dedicated team in a fully remote setting.

This role requires proven expertise in prospect research, ideally with 3–5 years of experience in a not-for-profit context. You will utilize various sources for demographic research, evaluate potential giving levels, and create comprehensive profiles for fundraising effectiveness. Ensure regular tracking of all relationship activities in the CRM system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize resources for proactive prospect identification

• Evaluate prospects' capacity and willingness to give

• Write prospect briefings for development staff

• Conduct regular portfolio and opportunity reviews

• Manage the prospect clearance process

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in donor research

• Proficiency with tools such as Charity

CAN and Grant Connect

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Analytical skills for effective data interpretation

• Strong interpersonal and planning skills
