Lead Business Systems Analyst; Remote

Our client is looking to add a Lead Business Systems Analyst position that will lead discovery, requirements definition, and strategic analysis activities across complex programs.

• Shape and own the business analysis approach for engagements, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment to best practice.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to define business needs, objectives, constraints, and success criteria.
• Guide clients through strategic decision‑making, challenging assumptions and ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Oversee creation of clear, structured documentation (requirements, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, business cases, etc.).
• Anticipate and address risks, issues, and blockers related to requirements, scope, or stakeholder alignment.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Architects, Product Owners, and Engineering teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered effectively.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and support to Senior and Consultant‑level Business Analysts within your project and across the practice.
• Influence project strategy, shaping roadmaps, delivery plans, and prioritization based on business value.
• Represent the client at senior‑level client forums, offering strategic insight and thought leadership.

• Extensive experience defining, challenging, and prioritizing business and technical requirements across complex projects.
• Ability to shape and influence engagements, guiding clients to make informed strategic decisions.
• Strong facilitation skills and experience leading large or senior stakeholder workshops.
• Expertise in identifying business improvements, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
• Ability to relate requirements back to business strategy and challenge those that do not drive value.
• Capability to evaluate solution options and ensure alignment between business needs, technical feasibility, and strategic objectives.
• Experience developing business cases, KPIs, OKRs, and value‑aligned success measures.
• Strong understanding of architectural concepts and ability to translate them into clear business requirements.
• Proven experience developing client relationships to identify and qualify new opportunities, working alongside senior leadership.
• Ability to foresee and resolve strategic blockers before they impact delivery.
• A track record of mentoring or coaching business analysts and contributing to capability development across a practice.

The anticipated hourly rate range for this position is ($75-78/hr). Actual hourly rate will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
