Who You AreClient Relationship Consultant:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 4+ years related experience (group benefits and/or account management experience preferred).
- Must be able to acquire and maintain all required state licenses within 90 days. Active life/health license preferred.
- Excellent persuasion, interpersonal, problem‑solving, decision‑making, time‑management, presentation, listening, and oral/written communication skills, as well as analytical skills.
- Advanced math skills required with basic skills related to graphs, symbols, equations, etc.
- Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of business unit applications preferred.
- Maintain accuracy while being detail oriented.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
- Travel required (approximately 25%), including overnight stays and time in the market in face‑to‑face contact with customers and brokers.

Senior Client Relationship Consultant (above qualifications apply along with below additions):
- 8+ years of related experience (group benefits and/or account management experience).
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non‑sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives and, in some instances, a bonus plan whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
SalaryRange (Non‑Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$62,000 – $105,000 / year
Salary Details
- Client Relationship Consultant: $62,000 – $84,000 / year
- Senior Client Relationship Consultant: $77,000 – $105,000 / year
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short‑term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work ArrangementThis role offers the ability for a hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek) work arrangement. Management reserves the right to adjust the days required in office.
