This role will be the face of the Amex GBT Ovation Network for the West and Central regions, responsible for supplier relations, partnerships, and management of our luxury Independent Agents.

• Partner with leisure suppliers and Independent Agents to grow and strengthen the Ovation Network.
• Manage existing relationships, build strong partnerships, and cultivate new ones to expand the network and drive growth.
• Identify new technology, services and solutions that optimize the Ovation Network, ensuring a world‑class experience for partners.
• Serve as the main point of contact for West Coast supplier queries, ensuring their needs are met and they receive exceptional service.
• Coordinate all IA challenges and questions, ensuring IAs have a flawless experience and are aware of Amex GBT support.
• Assist with the Independent Agent Portal content and identify opportunities to keep IAs informed of valuable resources and latest information.
• Liaise between Independent Agents and internal business units (e.g., accounting/finance, Operations/IT) to establish clear communication and collaboration.
• Foster positive relationships with skilled professionals to strengthen partnerships and enhance offerings.
• Represent the company at key supplier meetings, trade shows, and industry events to showcase world‑class services and build reputation.
• Establish a community of Independent Agents who excel in collaboration and share effective strategies within the network.

• 5+ years of leisure travel experience with proven ability to deliver connected customer experiences, positive relationships, and communications. Travel/Hospitality experience is required.
• Strong partnership management and supplier relation skills.
• Ability to identify new opportunities, attract new talent and grow the business.
• Forward‑thinking mindset, strong problem‑solving skills, and ability to translate ideas into actionable plans with exceptional execution.
• Excellent understanding of data and analytics and how this drives IA and partner relationships.
• Strong people leadership skills, ability to inspire, motivate and develop a team. (This role is not a people leadership position.)
• Capacity to instigate and drive positive change, lead multifunctional teams through transformation, and support effective operation during change.
• Strong senior management skills with ability to navigate matrix organizations and influence at every level.
• Global experience and ability to work with remote teams across time zones is a plus.
• Consistent record of delivering results in a highly commercial environment.
