Role Overview
Part of Fugro’s procurement strategy is to improve suppliers’ contracting and to effectively manage suppliers’ risks. Fugro is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Legal Counsel Procurement to join the Global Procurement department in Nootdorp. The role will report to the Head of the Legal Procurement team in the Netherlands. As a member of both the Procurement and the Legal and Compliance team, you partner with the Procurement team and other business units.
Responsibilities- Handle various procurement‑related legal issues in an international, dynamic setting.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on procurement contracts in ICT, third‑party personnel, and corporate services; support technical product and service contracts.
- Review global and framework agreements, master services agreements, purchase orders, terms & conditions, software licence agreements, NDAs, and confidentiality agreements.
- Leverage contract efficiencies by developing, updating, and promoting procurement contract templates.
- Promote the role of the Procurement department and good contract‑management practices, including providing training sessions.
- Cooperate closely with internal stakeholders (procurement, business, tax, insurance, ICT, etc.).
- Law degree and at least 5years of in‑house experience in procurement contract drafting, review, and negotiation in an international setting.
- Strong passion for procurement and motivation to contribute to Fugro’s mission of creating a safe and more livable world.
- Experience with ICT contracts, including exposure to AI, and strong curiosity for technology.
- Proactive, pragmatic self‑starter with a results‑driven mindset and the ability to work independently and within global teams.
- Strong relationship‑building skills and excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

- Salary range of €6560 to €7716, based on relevant experience, with opportunities for growth.
