Vice President, Client Success

Location: Remote

Base Salary: Starting at $175,000 + Bonus

Position Overview:

On behalf of a client, we are seeking a VP of Customer Success to lead and develop account management teams, ensuring strong client relationships, retention, and business growth. This role focuses on team leadership, client strategy, and operational excellence, working closely with executive leadership to drive performance. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage teams, oversee client success initiatives, and optimize service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the client success team, ensuring strong client relationships and retention.
  • Oversee contract reviews, renewal cycles, and performance reporting.
  • Guide account strategy, project management, and issue resolution.
  • Provide coaching and accountability for team members, fostering professional growth.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, team training, and strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key client decision-makers.
  • Support business development efforts, including new client pitches and RFPs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service delivery and drive client success.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and innovations to enhance client engagement.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in client success, account management, or business development.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, managing and developing teams.
  • Strong ability to recruit, coach, and allocate workload effectively.
  • Experience in contract management, reporting, and CRM tools (Hub Spot preferred).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage at the executive level.
  • Self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset and a strategic approach.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and conferences (under 10%).
