Executive Consultant – Business Development & Client Advisory | Remote – St. Louis Market

Acu Max Index is growing – and we’re looking to strengthen our presence in the St. Louis market. We’re seeking an experienced Executive Consultant to lead business development efforts, expand client relationships, and drive meaningful results for organizations throughout Missouri and the greater Midwest region.

If you’re a strategic relationship builder with a passion for consultative sales, leadership development, and helping organizations optimize their people, this opportunity is ideal.

As an Executive Consultant, you’ll serve as both a trusted advisor and business development leader, engaging with CEOs, COOs, and HR leaders across the St. Louis business community. You’ll guide clients in applying Acu Max’s assessment insights and consulting solutions to improve hiring, strengthen leadership teams, and build aligned, high‑performing cultures.

This is a remote position based in the St. Louis area, focused on expanding Acu Max’s regional footprint and creating lasting client partnerships across the Midwest.

Business Development & Sales
  • Build Acu Max’s presence in your region by developing relationships with local business leaders, associations, and referral networks.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking events, referrals, and inbound leads.
  • Manage the full sales cycle – from discovery to demos to contract negotiation and close.
  • Promote Acu Max’s consulting, training, and workshops to both new and existing clients.
  • Represent Acu Max at industry conferences, CEO groups, and regional events.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and meet or exceed regional revenue targets.
Client Advisory & Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned accounts, ensuring a proactive and high‑touch client experience.
  • Guide clients through onboarding, including system setup, report interpretation, and position profile creation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to help clients use Acu Max insights to improve hiring, leadership, and team performance.
  • Conduct regular check‑ins and business reviews to drive adoption, renewals, and account growth.
  • Monitor account health, identify risks early, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and enhance client experience.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in consultative B2B sales, business development, or professional services, ideally within HR tech, leadership development, or workforce consulting.
  • Proven success selling intangible or service‑based solutions such as training, SaaS, or consulting programs.
  • Skilled at engaging and influencing C‑suite and senior executives, particularly in small to mid‑market organizations.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect people strategy to organizational outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms.
  • Willingness to travel regionally for client meetings and industry events.
