** About The Job
** We are looking for a commercially experienced New Business Manager to join our global business development function and support growth across the US market.
This role is designed for a self-sufficient commercial professional who is comfortable owning client relationships, driving new business conversations, and representing a specialist CRO within a competitive, regulated environment.
You will work closely with senior leadership, marketing, and operational teams to identify, qualify, and progress opportunities across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, ATMPs, medical devices, and cosmetics.

** Phar Safer is a specialist Pharmacovigilance and Medical Services CRO, headquartered in the UK with a growing global footprint. We support international clients across clinical development and post-marketing environments, delivering safety-critical services underpinned by quality, compliance, and scientific expertise.
As part of our continued expansion, we are strengthening our commercial presence in the United States.
** Role Overview
** As a New Business Manager, you will take ownership of business development activity within the US market, managing opportunities from initial engagement through to proposal, negotiation, and handover to delivery teams.
You will act as a key commercial representative for Phar Safer, ensuring consistent positioning, professional engagement, and alignment with global strategy.

* Key Responsibilities:
*** Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities across the US life-sciences market
* Build and maintain strong client relationships with pharma, biotech, and related organisations
* Lead commercial discussions, opportunity qualification, and proposal development
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop pricing, service scope, and bid responses
* Support contract discussions and transition of new business into operations
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and commercial opportunities
* Represent Phar Safer at industry conferences, meetings, and networking events
* Provide regular reporting and commercial insight to senior leadership

* Qualifications & Skills:
** Essential* Proven experience in B2B business development or sales within life sciences or regulated services
* Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a regional pipeline
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Willingness to travel within the US as required
* Existing right to work in the United States Desirable
* Experience with in pharmacovigilance, CROs, or safety-related services
* Established network within pharma, biotech, or medical device sectors
