Internship - Low & No Alcohol (LoNo) Growth & Innovation

Join the forefront of the beverage revolution! The LoNo (Low and No Alcohol) category is the fastest-growing segment in the industry. In this role, you will combine Marketing, Strategy, and Innovation to drive growth for our 0.0 portfolio and our exciting range of Low alcohol propositions (≤3.5% ABV).
ResponsibilitiesWhat will you be working on?
- Analyze trends:
Dive into data to track the rapid rise of the “sober‑curious” movement, covering everything from completely alcohol‑free to lighter, sessionable options (≤3.5% ABV). - Create impact:
Design high‑quality, persuasive presentations and visual assets to communicate our LoNo strategy to stakeholders worldwide. - Innovate with tech:
Leverage AI tools to streamline research, generate creative concepts, and stay ahead of the curve. - Collaborate:
Work closely with the Global Commerce, Brand, and Innovation teams to roll out initiatives for brands like Heineken 0.0, Amstel Radler, and other low‑alcohol innovations.
The LoNo Category Growth & Innovation team is the heartbeat of HEINEKEN's most dynamic segment. We are responsible for normalizing moderation globally—making both 0.0 and Low alcohol choices (≤3.5%) the cool choice. We work in a high‑energy environment where we challenge the status quo daily. You will join a diverse team that values fresh perspectives and proactive thinking.
During your internship you’ll have every opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN across departments. We trust and empower you to work with an entrepreneurial mindset and bring outside ideas.
QualificationsWe believe everyone has unique talents. In addition to a drive to grow, you bring:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s program (e.g., Business, Marketing, Innovation, or Design).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Visual storytelling skills—expert in PowerPoint/Keynote; design skills and experience with AI tools are a major plus.
- Proactive, curious about trends in moderation and low‑alcohol beverages, and eager to take ownership.
- You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during onboarding.
- In the case of non‑EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
- In the case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
- You reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of your internship. Please note that HEINEKEN does not provide housing.
- You are in possession of a valid citizen service number (BSN).
During your time as an intern at HEINEKEN, you’ll work in a dynamic environment where growing and learning are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we brew your future step by step. In addition, we offer you:
- A full‑time practice‑oriented internship, starting on March 1, 2026.
- The duration of the internship is 6 months (to be agreed upon with your internship supervisor).
- You will be based in Amsterdam.
- At HEINEKEN, we work with a hybrid model, typically spending three days a week at the office and two days working from home.
- You will receive a monthly internship allowance of €650 gross based on a 40‑hour workweek.
- You will earn 2 vacation days per month (based on a full‑time internship).
- If you do not have a public transport student subscription, your commuting costs will be fully reimbursed.
