The EMEA Commercial & Sales Training team at Dexcom is looking for a Sales Trainer to enhance commercial performance across the MEA region. The role involves delivering and refining training solutions for Sales Representatives and Sales Managers, collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders, and driving behavioral change to improve sales effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Partner with MEA Commercial leaders to define training priorities through needs assessments, identifying capability gaps and aligning enablement initiatives to commercial strategy.
Design and refresh core curriculum (onboarding, product, clinical, competitive, and selling skills) in partnership with subject‑matter experts for the region.
Deliver instructor‑led, virtual and blended learning experiences that build consistent selling behaviours aligned to strategy.
Reinforce learning through field coaching (ride‑alongs), observation, role plays and structured feedback aligned to defined competency models.
Create training and enablement plans, materials and facilitator guides; produce clear status updates, insights and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
Measure effectiveness of programs using agreed metrics (knowledge checks, certification, field observation, performance trends) and implement continuous improvements.
Collaborate with MEA leadership and EMEA Training peers to ensure consistent standards, localisation where needed and alignment to EMEA strategy.
Maintain expertise in adult learning principles, facilitation, digital learning tools and coaching methodologies; recommend the best delivery approach for each audience and objective.
Manage assigned projects within the Training function, evaluate training effectiveness, and continuously enhance the MEA training curriculum.

Qualifications

At least 5+ years’ experience in medical device or pharmaceutical field sales training, enablement or commercial excellence.
Experience supporting both primary and secondary care teams within the diabetes segment is a strong advantage.
Demonstrated ability to assess capability needs, design learning solutions and drive field adoption through coaching and reinforcement.
Strong business acumen and experience operating in a regulated healthcare/medical device environment within the MEA region.
Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly and diplomatically across cultures and seniority levels.
Ability to accelerate time‑to‑proficiency for new product launches and innovations across the region.
Strong facilitation, coaching and presentation skills in in‑person and virtual settings.
Evidence of sustained behaviour change through observed selling behaviours.
Proficiency with learning technologies: LMS platforms, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), BI tools (Power BI/Tableau); advanced Excel skills preferred.
Strong understanding of sales processes, KPIs and strategic enablement frameworks, including selling methodologies and manager coaching models.
Excellent stakeholder management skills and strong facilitation.

Bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of related experience.
