What you will do
As an Operations Manager
, you will lead the design, optimization, and governance of end‑to‑end logistics processes across Pick‑Up & Delivery, Sorting Hubs, and Ramp Operations. Your focus is to ensure efficient, reliable, and cost‑effective flow of shipments from first mile to last mile through strong process control, data‑driven decision‑making, and continuous improvement.
You will drive workflow optimization, capacity planning, and performance improvement initiatives across logistics, warehousing, supply chain, e‑commerce fulfillment, or transportation environments, ensuring scalable and standardized operations.
You will oversee and influence a team of approximately 20–30 personnel, primarily responsible for process execution support, coordination, analytics, and operational performance monitoring.
- Lead process engineering and continuous improvement initiatives across Pick‑Up & Delivery, sorting, ramp, and linehaul interface operations
- Design, review, and optimize end‑to‑end logistics workflows to improve efficiency, speed, accuracy, and cost performance
- Develop and standardize operational processes, SOPs, and control mechanisms across logistics nodes
- Analyze operational KPIs (service level, transit time, throughput, cost efficiency, loss & damage) and drive structured improvement actions
- Identify process bottlenecks in sorting, routing, dispatch, and ramp handling flows, and implement sustainable solutions
- Drive capacity planning and resource optimization, including manpower planning, equipment utilization, and volume balancing
- Improve network efficiency and routing strategies across first mile, hub operations, and linehaul integration
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards, reporting systems, and operational analytics tools
- Lead and implement continuous improvement programs (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma principles where applicable)
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational governance standards across all processes
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to align service performance, cost efficiency, and operational scalability
- Support process documentation, standardization, and capability development initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, supply chain, e‑commerce fulfillment, or transportation environments
- Strong background in process improvement, industrial engineering, or operational excellence roles
- Experience in high‑volume logistics operations such as PUD, sorting hubs, fulfilment centres, or transportation networks
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end logistics flows (first mile, middle mile, last mile)
- Data‑driven with strong analytical, process mapping, and problem‑solving capabilities
- Experience in KPI management, performance optimization, and operational analytics
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies (advantageous)
- Strong stakeholder coordination and cross‑functional collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and structured thinking abilities.
