Clarification from the agency

Duties
- Represents the customer to DLA Enterprise on overall weapon system and commodity product line support.
- Serve as project manager for weapon system readiness and commodity logistics support initiatives.
- Ensures effective demand planning for assigned weapon systems or commodity product lines.
- Provides logistics expertise for assigned weapon system platforms to U.S. military and civil agencies.
- Resolves high-priority logistics, supply, distribution, information, or service issues through direct action or coordination with DLA.
- Monitors DLA impact on weapon system readiness and commodity lines, analyzing supply degraders to identify issues and restore acceptable support levels.

To qualify for a Logistics Management Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector.
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes :
- Providing logistics support, planning, and scheduling to customers.
- Conducting a variety of logistics planning and supply chain support functions, such as supply management, material management, order fulfillment, storage and distribution, acquisition, procurement, demand planning, transportation, etc.
- Managing life cycles logistics in support of industrial overhaul, repair, or maintenance facilities.
