Black Rock Aladdin business is uniquely positioned to address the industry’s investment management and financial technology demands. The various business departments within Aladdin entity are focused on providing clients with highly scalable end‑to‑end investment management solutions for both public and private markets.
About the RoleThe role sits within our Aladdin Client Engagement team, responsible for expanding our footprint within our existing client base, minimizing churn, and delivering a best‑in‑class user experience. As a Client Relationship Manager, you will service clients across relationship management, business development, churn prevention, and value delivery. You will embed yourself in the client’s key decision makers and business leaders to drive adoption and growth, with a focus on the Middle East region.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and establish strong relationships with clients based in the Middle East and represent Black Rock effectively.
- Liaise with clients’ key stakeholders and provide strong leadership for the Aladdin and eFront relationships, building senior connectivity and developing training and marketing materials.
- Develop strong relationships with all groups within Black Rock Aladdin and Black Rock to ensure an excellent client experience and convey client requirements to product teams.
- Work with local Business Development, implementation, and asset management teams to build an integrated single client experience.
- Coordinate with Support, Product Management, and Engineering to provide the best service to clients.
- Manage client relationships across public and private asset classes.
- Engage with large to medium‑sized SWFs, asset managers, pension funds, and family offices.
- Drive the three major objectives: expand footprint, prevent revenue attrition, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Regular travel in the region is required.
- Fluent in English;
Arabic is a plus. - 10+ years in the fintech industry (client, consulting, technology provider).
- Deep knowledge of capital markets, both public and private, with an understanding of business, financial, and technical terminology.
- Technologically aware and able to visualize opportunities for clients.
- Demonstrated experience leading strategic initiatives within a global organization.
- Strong project management, coordination, and analytical problem‑solving skills.
- Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly.
- Self‑starter capable of operating with limited guidance in a highly matrixed organization.
- Experience managing clients across harvesting, churn, and client satisfaction.
- Comfortable working in a diverse, multi‑cultural environment.
- Experience reporting business performance with data and analytics.
