Procurement Project Coordinator [Remote-FT Temp]

What You Will Do- Acting as the liaison between the organization and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Managing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and resolving shipping discrepancies
- Creating project plans for resourcing effort
- Coordinating with program/project managers to align procurement needs with project timelines.
- Ensuring necessary materials are available for project schedules developing Line of Balance and overlap transition plan
- Weekly report out on progress and updates on look ahead activities
- Bachelor s degree in business, accounting, or a related field preferred with 1-3 years of relative experience; in lieu of degree, 4-8 years of procurement experience acceptable
- Experience in procurement or purchasing
- Project coordination skills supporting large projects helpful
- Proficiency in ERP software SAP preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on mid-level Excel skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Due to the nature of the work, you must be a US Citizen
$28.84 to $31.25 per hour

Work RequirementsThis role is a Remote position supporting our site in Rockford, ILL, FT Temporary, expected 4-6 month duration, possible extension.
- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Due to the nature of the work, zero travel is required.
Citizenship requirementDue to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
