EY-Parthenon – (Senior) Consultant People Strategy and M&A

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

As a (senior) consultant you’ll be part of the EY‑Parthenon Strategy & Execution team, focusing on People Strategy across the entire deal life cycle. You’ll advise and support clients on both the sell‑side and buy‑side, contribute to deal pricing and post‑deal synergy realization.

• Complex HR due diligence, day‑one readiness, post‑merger integration, carve‑outs and post‑deal value creation such as strategic workforce planning, organization design, employee relations planning and execution, culture, communication and change initiatives.
• Supporting clients in planning and implementing People and HR elements for organisational restructuring programmes at both strategic and operational levels.
• Addressing People and HR‑related matters through all stages of acquisition, divestiture and merger, including pre‑ and post‑deal.
• Writing and reviewing reports, project planning, data analysis and developing presentation materials, including high‑quality, risk‑managed reports for clients and executives.
• Structuring and managing (international) projects that meet and exceed client expectations, while confidently recognising and addressing potential issues during client assignments.

• Experience in advising clients on a range of transactions and restructurings, ideally in People topics.
• Recent graduate with a Master’s degree from a Dutch university in Strategy, Business Administration, Finance, Organisational Studies, Econometrics, HRM or a similar field.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and high proficiency in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Strong affinity with People and HR topics, strategy development and mergers & acquisitions.
• Highly experienced with Microsoft Office and Excel; if required, you already hold a valid work permit.
