Estimator (Remote)

Reporting to the General Manager – Estimating Team, Docu Sketch Estimators

are Subject Matter Experts in both Xactimate and Core Logic estimating

platforms, who consistently and proficiently prepare insurer compliant estimates

for our valued customers. Docu Sketch Estimate Writers maintain the highest

standards of estimate writing practices, as well as company standards. Docu Sketch

Estimate Writers will also communicate directly with our customers and must

maintain a high standard of customer service. While our headquarters are in

Lakeland, Florida, and Berlin, Germany, this position is fully remote, giving you the

flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States or Canada.

Qualifications:

Must have at least 1-3 years in estimate writing experience in the insurance

restoration industry

Will have some knowledge of home construction

Has intermediate to expert level in writing estimate in either or both

Xactimate and Core Logic estimating platforms

Has thorough knowledge of a variety of insurer estimating procedures

Has IICRC training or a current certification in at least one of the following:

Water

Fire and Smoke

Odor Control

Structural Drying

Mold

Asbestos

Responsibilities

This is a fast-paced environment, working from home. In addition to the above

requirements, the Ideal candidate will:

Be an individual who is able to stay focused at the task at hand to ensure

timely completion of each task

Be able to work independently

Be able to consistently meet specified timelines

Have strong written and verbal communication skills

Have a minimum of an intermediate level computer experience

Multiple full-time positions are available with different work schedules to cover many different time zones. Weekends and evenings may be required to support our customers and their operations. Part-time positions may also be considered.
