OverviewThe Director, Enterprise Sales will provide leadership and guidance to a dynamic field sales team. The Director will be responsible for the team's development and ability to effectively sell Alteryx solutions. Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly assess and understand a prospect’s business environment and needs and apply the business value of Alteryx is essential to success. The Director will manage up to eight remote Enterprise Account Executives.
Responsibilities- Achieve revenue growth across all revenue channels for Alteryx.
- Execute growth plans, including sales, consulting services, and education services.
- Coach the sales team on the company-adopted sales methodologies to ensure value is experienced quickly by prospects and customers.
- Join sales teams in the field on joint sales calls.
- Set and review performance and sales goals for the sales team.
- Work with sales teams to meet KPIs and goals in day-to-day performance, sales, and increased product knowledge.
- Conduct group Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Recruit and hire staff.
- Direct enterprise sales opportunities, including implementation plans, and coordinate internal and/or external professional services.
- Interpret and adhere to sales policies and advise on their handling.
- Deliver timely and accurate sales forecasts to management.
- Show knowledge of at least three industries and/or market segments.
- Demonstrate leadership and interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Travel as required.
- At least 10 years of experience in software sales.
- 4+ years managing sales teams of 5–7.
- Proven ability to motivate team members.
- Success in small/fast-growing company environments.
- Experience achieving sales targets.
- Understanding of strategic sales techniques in a high-transaction software environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree.
The base salary range for this role in the United States is $150,000–$175,000, with an On-Target-Earnings range of $300,000–$350,000 (uncapped, plus options). In addition to base pay and commission eligibility, the role includes:
- A monthly Connectivity Plus stipend of $150 to support remote work-related expenses.
