Are you passionate about numbers? Do you enjoy working independently and as a member of a team? Dr. Berg Nutritionals is hiring a Temporary Finance Assistant who wants to be part of an expanding team. If this sounds like you, then you are in the right place!

We are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant with knowledge of accounting principles and practices. This position is short-term for 3 months.

Our ideal candidate has a proven track record of effectively utilizing various accounting systems such as Excel, Net Suite, and other ERP systems.

You will be responsible for reporting income and revenue, reconciling designated accounts, and recording deposits, customer refunds, customer reshipments, and accounts receivable.

You’ll collaborate with the Finance Director and other team members to ensure the financial success of our organization.

This is a TEMPORARY 3-month opportunity.

• Report daily income for the company from all revenue-generating sources
• Import and record daily income deposits into Net Suite for bank reconciliations
• Enter non-automated customer refunds into Net Suite to complete deposits
• Work with wholesalers to enter orders, accept payments, and facilitate shipment to our warehouse
• Upload credit card charges and reconcile credit card statements
• Handle tracking and reporting income metrics for the department

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Comprehension of the accounting order to cash process
• Proficiency in Excel
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Works well in a team environment
• Experience in Net Suite or similar ERP system
• Must be able to pass a background check

• Up-to-date PC with Windows or Mac computer with MacOS operating system, anti-virus protection, and reliable high-speed internet connection.
• Stable Wi-Fi connection, suitable computer, and a quiet workspace conducive to remote work.
• Employees are expected to ensure their work environment is conducive to productivity, free from major distractions and without any conflicting responsibilities during scheduled shifts.
• Tech-savvy approach to everyday tasks and communication is imperative.
• Must be comfortable and experienced using Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, etc.) and able to learn and navigate new computer software.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm EST, with one-hour break

Location: Fully remote
