Product Manager Role
As a Product Manager at Carbon Chain, you will own critical parts of the product lifecycle—from discovery and strategy through to delivery and iteration. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll work closely with engineering, sales, and sustainability experts to build products that make carbon accounting seamless, accurate, and actionable. This is a unique opportunity to drive product direction at an early stage, where your decisions will have outsized impact.
Key Responsibilities- Define, prioritize, and communicate the product roadmap aligned with company goals.
- Translate customer, regulatory, and market needs into clear product requirements.
- Partner with engineering and design to deliver features from concept to launch.
- Break down complex problems into actionable user stories and iterations.
- Ensure high-quality product releases that deliver measurable customer value.
- Lead discovery with customers, prospects, and industry stakeholders.
- Understand emerging regulations (e.g., EU CBAM, SEC climate disclosures) and translate them into product opportunities.
- Be the voice of the customer within Carbon Chain.
- Work with sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure product-market fit.
- Support go-to-market planning, demos, and sales enablement.
- Measure adoption, usage, and impact to refine the product over time.
- 4–7 years of experience in product management, strategy, or related roles.
- Proven track record of shipping impactful software products, ideally in B2B SaaS.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
- Experience in climate tech, fintech, or enterprise SaaS.
- Familiarity with carbon accounting, supply chains, or ESG regulations.
- Technical background or prior hands-on collaboration with data/ML teams.
- 28 days of annual leave.
