C2N Diagnostics, a St. Louis-based biotechnology company focused on commercializing high quality in vitro diagnostics for neurodegenerative conditions, is looking for a Manager of Vendor Procurement to join C2N’s growing Finance team. This critical position will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, overseeing contracts and evaluating vendor performance.
This role focuses on sourcing, negotiating and maintaining strong relationships with vendors to ensure C2N secures optimal value and quality. This position is a fully remote position with travel as needed for internal and external meetings and conferences. Midwest-based candidates are preferred.

The Manager of Vendor Procurement will be responsible for:
- Sourcing and vendor selection, which includes researching and assessing prospective vendors, performing market analysis and creating and implementing sourcing strategies to secure the most competitive pricing for C2N
- Assisting in negotiating vendor contracts, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards, identifying and mitigating potential risks and overseeing the contract lifecycle in partnership with the contracts team
- Managing vendor performance by tracking and assessing performance based on established metrics, overseeing and maintaining vendor relationships and resolving performance concerns
- Achieving cost optimization by identifying opportunities to reduce cost, leveraging volume discounts and securing advantageous terms
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Legal, IT, QA and Commercial and Lab Operations
- Complying with applicable state, and federal regulatory sources/standards
- Other duties as assigned
Qualified Candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and higher preferred
- At least three years of procurement, vendor management experience in a medical or clinical laboratory setting
- Proficiency with various MS Office computer applications
- Ability to work independently and multitask with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic
- Self-motivated
- Ability to learn new systems and processes
- Ability to travel as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and stand for up to periods of four (4) hours
- Ability to lift up to thirty (30) pounds in an office environment
