Position Summary

The Director of Business Development is responsible for driving growth across Dry Force’s Texas locations within the High Ground portfolio. This role leads business development strategy, sales enablement, and performance coaching for Business Development Representatives. The Director of Business Development ensures successful channel partner engagement and builds scalable sales frameworks tailored to Dry Force’s referral-based model and Texas market dynamics.

This position blends strategic leadership with hands‑on execution to improve sales performance, strengthen channel partner networks (plumbers, HVAC, property managers, etc.), and support brand expansion initiatives across the state of Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee lead generation, sales, onboarding, and relationship management of key referral sources (e.g., plumbers, HVAC, property managers).
  • Standardize and elevate channel messaging, pitch materials, and partner‑facing collateral.
  • Manage incentive programs, referral fees, and partner engagement events across all Dry Force Texas locations.
Sales Team Leadership & Coaching
  • Directly manage and mentor Dry Force BDRs and local business development teams across all Texas locations.
  • Deliver sales enablement training, objection‑handling strategies, and Dry Force value proposition coaching.
  • Conduct performance reviews and one‑on‑one coaching to optimize sales activity and conversion rates.
Performance Management
  • Track and manage sales KPIs (Lead generation, conversion rate, average job revenue, CAC).
  • Leverage CRM systems to enforce consistency in reporting, tracking, and daily sales activities.
  • Identify variances in performance early and lead root‑cause corrective actions.
  • Partner with centralized marketing to roll out campaigns across Dry Force Texas locations and territories.
  • Collaborate on promotional material development, digital marketing strategy, and local brand activations.
Multi-Location Integration
  • Aggregate and share best practices across all Dry Force Texas locations and the broader High Ground network.
  • Support new Dry Force location onboarding and Texas market expansion by training and integrating BDR practices.
  • Facilitate cross‑location communication and alignment with High Ground shared services and corporate goals.
Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Develop and implement Texas‑wide growth strategies for Dry Force aligned with High Ground’s broader organizational goals.
  • Establish and monitor OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for Dry Force BDR teams across all Texas locations and referral channels.
  • Drive expansion into new Texas territories, market segments, and additional Dry Force locations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8–12 years in sales, channel development, or business development, with 3+ years in multi‑location leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in high‑growth, field‑driven sales environments—preferably in residential services, restoration, or franchising sectors.
  • Experience working with referral‑based sales channels is highly preferred.

  • Occasional work outside standard business hours to meet with partners or BDRs in the field.
