Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy Analysis

Overview

Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy Analysis at Capital One Canada. The role focuses on identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, supporting strategic growth, and collaborating across teams within the Canada Card business.

You will work with Business Analysts, Financial Analysts, and Project Managers supporting Strategy and Business Development functions.

• Develop business strategies that drive growth, profitability, and competitive success.
• Own business cases with an ownership mindset and P&L accountability.
• Plan strategically with a 1-6 month horizon.
• Lead and develop a team of analysts, including coaching and mentoring.
• Coordinate and collaborate across the business to manage delivery of business cases and initiatives.
• Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently.
• Partner with cross functional stakeholders (Tech, Marketing, Operations, Finance, etc.) to improve quality, volume, service, and profitability.
• Apply analytical rigor in decision making, problem solving, and rigorous analytic marketing & credit risk management.
• Demonstrate strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity, with a tenacious decision-making approach.
• Operate as a self starter, comfortable with blue sky thinking and incomplete information.
• Leverage high-performing team and business partner capabilities across the enterprise.
• Exercise executive communication skills to influence and drive agreement.
• Maintain a focus on short- and long-term results, driving agenda in uncertain environments.
• Thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environments.

• At least seven years of quantitative analysis/financial modeling experience.
• At least five years of managing high-impact projects.
• At least three years of competitive/market analysis experience.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering).
• At least five years in Corporate Strategy, Strategy Consulting, Strategy and Operations, or Business Development.
• At least three years of people management experience.
• Experience working with a broad stakeholder group, including senior leaders and executives.

Hybrid work environment with three days in the office, one-time Work From Home allowance, and comprehensive benefits for spouses, domestic partners, and dependents. Mental health coverage up to $3,000 and tuition subsidies up to $5,000 per year.

Annual salary range: $184,400 to $210,000. Eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonus opportunities.
