Description:We are seeking a talented individual to join our Executive Benefits team at Mercer, a Marsh business
. This role can be based in Dallas (TX) or Charlotte (NC) and offers a remote work arrangement, requiring in-office presence on an as needed basis.
As a Client Services Analyst
, you will play an integral role in supporting multiple employer client accounts and their executive benefit programs for C‑Suite executives. Your expertise in data analysis and Excel will be key as you prepare detailed client reports, perform benefit calculations, and assist with enrollment and claims processes. You will also lead important projects like benchmarking and client communications, ensuring smooth administration of executive benefits.

- Prepare client reporting, including cash value reports, death benefit reports, 101(j) reporting, and imputed income reporting with advanced Excel skills
- Support the administration of Nonqualified Deferred Compensation Plans, including fund allocation changes, distributions, and deferrals
- Support enrollment setup and testing, and assist with initiating death claim processes with carriers
- Calculate life and disability benefits for executives based on compensation structures and plan design
- Request quotes, submit applications, and peer review policy documents for executive benefit programs
- Generate premium invoices for Split Dollar/COLI plans and audit premium confirmations
- Prepare benefit statements using Excel and mail merge; develop client rollout communications and fee billing consent emails
- Manage project assignments such as benchmarking data compilation and Net Promoter Score surveys
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in life and health insurance, employee benefits, or a related field, preferably in business administration
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex file manipulation
- Proven organizational, time‑management, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Detail oriented, high level of accuracy in work and ability to meet commitments
- Ability to learn and navigate multiple internal systems
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience thriving in a matrixed organization while juggling competing priorities
- A growth mindset with proven adaptability and creative problem‑solving
- Strong relationship building skills, grounded in clear communication and collaboration
