Position: CUP Coffee House Event Coordinator

About CUP: Community Uplift Partnership (CUP) is a Colorado faith-based nonprofit that helps young adults overcome hurdles in their lives through education and connection. Our programs serve young people ages 16–24 in safe, supportive environments that foster growth, stability, hope, and faith.

Scope of Position:

CUP is seeking an organized, creative, and people-centered Event Coordinator to help bring our coffee houses to life through meaningful events and gatherings.

This role plans, coordinates, and executes community events at Reunion Coffee House and Greyhound Grounds Coffee House, working closely with CUP staff, volunteers, and community partners. The Event Coordinator helps create welcoming, well-run experiences that align with CUP’s mission of connection, growth, and community uplift. The Event Coordinator will also be in charge of all of CUP’s social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Planning and coordinating coffee house events, meetings, and community gatherings

  • Coordinating all private rentals and communicating with renters.

Communicating with staff, volunteers, and external partners

Managing event logistics, schedules, and setup needs

Ensuring events reflect CUP’s values and create a warm, inclusive environment

  • Collaborating with our Community Director for all community events
  • Updating all social media platforms

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, relational, adaptable, and energized by bringing people together. Alignment with CUP’s mission and values is essential.

Hours:

Schedule

  • Flexible schedule:
    Choosing 4-5 of the days Monday-Saturday to work in office and little work from home capability
  • Working at least 2 Saturdays a month at either Greyhound Grounds or Reunion Coffee House
  • 2-5 evenings throughout the month
  • Daily emailing and answering phone calls.
  • Working on specialty events at Reunion Coffee House
    • PTO & sick leave that follows the Colorado Healthy Families & Workplaces Act.
