Sr. Strategic Partner Account Manager (Reseller and Referral)

As a Sr. Strategic Partner Account Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving growth and partner success across BambooHR’s partner ecosystem. You’ll manage a portfolio of high-impact partners, lead business development conversations, set strategic growth goals to execution, and partner with our marketing team to co-manage sponsor ships and strategic marketing initiatives that align with BambooHR’s go-to-market strategy. Your work will directly contribute to expanding integration adoption, increasing lead generation and accelerating co-selling opportunities, and deepening strategic relationships.
Youwill:
- Own and grow relationships with top referral & channel partners by driving joint GTM opportunities, quarterly reviews, and strategic alignment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, managing day-to-day communications and acting as a liaison between Product, Marketing, and Sales teams.
- Monitor and report on key partner performance metrics, including lead conversion, revenue influence, and marketing engagement.
- Identify high-potential partners for strategic progression, platform alignment, or co-selling motions based on strategic partner criteria.
- Act as a bridge for communication between referral partners and the partner sales team, including regular strategy calls with the partner.
- Coordinate with partner sales personnel to drive partner strategy and maximize referrals and sales.
- Understand customer and business needs to enable partners to cross-sell and up-sell BambooHR’s products.
- 3–5 years of experience in partner account management, marketing, channel sales, or strategic alliances in the SaaS or HR tech space.
- A relationship-builder at heart who thrives when working with both external stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing pipeline, forecasts, and reporting for partner-sourced or influenced revenue and integration adoption.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can pivot quickly based on partner or business needs.
- Comfort navigating strategic conversations and influencing cross-departmental decisions.
- Detail-oriented and loves bringing structure to ambiguity.
- Familiarity with partner tiering models, joint business planning, or co-sell frameworks.
- Experience working with any CRM and PRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Crossbeam, Euler, App Direct).
- Ability to build data-informed partner strategies and communicate ROI to leadership.
- Strong understanding of the HR tech or SaaS integration ecosystem.
- Comfort presenting in executive-level meetings and representing partner opportunities internally.
