Griswold, a leader in the home care franchise industry and recognized as a Top Home Care Franchise, is seeking a motivated Franchise Business Coach to take ownership of our Northeast region. You’ll be the strategic growth coach our franchise owners rely on to drive profit, retain caregivers, and run operationally sound businesses. In this role, you’ll combine your home care or home health strategic expertise with a passion for mentorship, empowering franchise owners to thrive while advancing Griswold’s mission: empowering the communities we serve, providing independence, and ensuring peace of mind for our clients.
Locationand Flexibility
- We offer a flexible hybrid work environment for home office employees, requiring 2 office days per week.
- Expect up to 25% travel annually, including franchise field visits, attending industry events, along with quarterly visits to the franchisor headquarters in Blue Bell, PA for remote employees.

As a Franchise Business Coach, you will:
- Serve as a strategic business advisor, helping owners drive financial growth, caregiver retention, and client satisfaction
- Use P&L data, KPI dashboards, and performance analytics to identify coaching conversations, improvement opportunities and keep owners accountable in pursuit of their goals.
- Support franchisees in executing client and caregiver acquisition and retention strategies programs
- Deliver structured coaching and development strategies to franchise owners and their operational staff
- Facilitate the adoption of Griswold’s technology stack, marketing resources, and preferred vendor partnerships
- Partner with the corporate team on brand initiatives, compliance, and system-wide rollouts
- Spend roughly two weeks per quarter in the field, alongside owners, seeing how your coaching translates to real outcomes
- Stay current on home care industry trends so your franchisees maintain a competitive edge in their local markets
Success in this role means measurable improvements in franchisee KPIs, including revenue growth, caregiver satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For- 5+ years of experience in healthcare or non-medical home care, personal care, or companion care operations
- Prior experience working within a franchise organization, with an understanding of franchise operations, franchisee support, and multi-unit business models.
- Understanding of the agency (employee) and/or registry (contractor) business model.
- Demonstrated ability to coach or develop others toward measurable performance improvements
- Financial fluency, ability to read a P&L, spot margin issues, and build a plan to address them
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfort with data and analytics platforms as decision-making tools, not just reporting tools
- A collaborative, ownership-oriented mindset, with a passion for empowering others
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience in home care operations or franchise consulting is equally valued. Home health or hospice background is not required for this role.
