Business Analyst

Description

An established and growing SaaS organization is seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Business Analyst to join its finance and operations team. This is a high-impact role designed to elevate business intelligence capabilities across the organization, with a strong focus on market insights, pricing strategy, and customer analytics.

This position is ideal for a sharp, strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between data and decision-making, helping leadership better understand performance drivers and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

+ Gather and document business requirements to support cross-functional initiatives

+ Analyze customer usage, behavior trends, and engagement patterns to inform strategic decisions

+ Develop ideal customer profiles (ICP) and geographic market insights

+ Conduct pricing analysis and support optimization strategies across products and services

+ Monitor and report on customer programs, including loyalty and retention initiatives

+ Perform competitive and market analysis across multiple regions and segments

+ Analyze vendor and service costs, including fee structures and billing alignment

+ Support acquisition efforts through financial modeling and strategic analysis

+ Partner with leadership to track KPIs, performance metrics, and operational trends

+ Deliver data-driven insights through dashboards, reports, and executive summaries

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, sales operations, and accounting teams

+ Leverage data tools and systems to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency

+ Contribute to building and enhancing business intelligence infrastructure

Requirements

Qualifications

+ 10-15+ years of experience in business analysis, strategy, or management consulting

+ Strong background in pricing analysis, competitive analysis, and KPI development

+

Experience with in a SaaS or subscription-based business model strongly preferred

+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field required; MBA preferred

+ Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and systems (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Excel)

+

Experience with ERP/CRM platforms (e.g., Net Suite, Hub Spot) and data environments is a plus

+ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

+ Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership

+ Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimal structure

+ High level of business acumen and attention to detail
