Overview
This is a hybrid remote position with weekly onsite work in the Supply Chain department/System. Dartmouth Health is located in the state of NH.
The Clinical Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that ensure a cost‑effective, resilient, and high‑quality supply base. This role involves advanced analytics, clinical partnership, value analysis, inventory optimization, and supplier management. Key responsibilities include contract management strategies to reduce costs, enhance supplier performance, and optimize procurement processes, playing a critical part in advancing supply chain efficiency and supporting high‑quality patient care.
This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers and serves as a liaison between Supply Chain and General Counsel. The manager reviews and negotiates contracts for supplies, equipment, and purchased services within the parameters established by General Counsel and educates Supply Chain staff on contract terms, conditions, and regulatory issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Master of Health Administration (MHA), or related advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, vendor selection, vendor performance management, and contract management within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare provider environments.
- Professional certifications (CPSM, CSCP, PMP) are beneficial.
- Knowledgeable in supply chain management, ERP and EMR systems, contract management software, services contracting, accounting principles, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, market and supplier research, and analytics. Skilled in communication planning, negotiation, data interpretation, and process improvement.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, ERP and supply chain information systems, contract management software, and EDI/GHX platforms.
