Reporting to an assigned mentor, this position will be structured to give the candidate a foundation of understanding of the goals for the assigned department. The intern will receive on‑job training and coaching, apply learned knowledge, gain experience in a real‑world setting, and participate in daily department tasks and a project aligned with the bank’s strategic initiatives. After successful completion of training and proven abilities, the intern may qualify for a hybrid/remote work arrangement with an agreed number of days per month on site.
Availability is expected during agreed hours; work outside regular business hours requires approval on an as needed basis.
- Participate in a variety of departmental projects.
- Use discretion when handling large amounts of sensitive, confidential information while adhering to all bank policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance to ensure a high standard of customer service.
- Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act regulations and all applicable regulatory standards, attending all required training and completing online courses.
- Perform other duties as assigned, similar or related work as directed.
On‑job training in routine work completed under direct supervision and subject to specific bank policies.
Skills that Will Be Used and/or Learned- Working toward or holding a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with coursework related to the assigned department.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 Suite (Email, Calendar, Distribution Groups, Teams, SharePoint/One Drive).

- Ability to multi‑task, organize, work independently, accomplish tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Understanding and application of administrative activities with office procedures and standard office equipment operation.
- Means and mode to travel to bank office locations as needed.
- Smart Phone to enable MFA (Multi‑Factor Authentication) for access to bank systems.
- Remote location must include a dedicated, distraction‑free workspace with adequate lighting for video calls.
- Reliable internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to join Teams and other video calls.

- Work schedule may include early morning, evening, and weekend hours.
