Operations/Sales Support Specialist USA Waste and Recycling Position Summary

USA Waste & Recycling is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Operations/Sales Support Specialist. This role will serve to assist in our municipal contract management as well as reconciling subcontractor invoices and billing. The position also includes data reporting responsibilities, such as managing billing procedures, tracking municipal requirements and agreements, maintaining accurate internal records, and preparing and submitting bids. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have a strong background with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, and have experience with CRM software.

Strong project management skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion are essential for success in this role.

Your Role
  • Support bid processes, including preparation and submission of time-sensitive documentation.
  • Coordinate and track service requests and billing inquiries, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Maintain and manage data related to billing procedures, municipal requirements, and service agreements.
  • Ensure accuracy of all records and documentation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support operations and sales to improve processes.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Maintains reasonable, regular, and punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.
