We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, AdTech Data Partnerships to lead our efforts to develop and manage strategic partnerships that enhance our data capabilities and drive growth for our Demand‑Side Platform (DSP). You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to identify opportunities for collaboration, negotiate agreements, and ensure the successful integration of data solutions – use cases are inclusive of audiences, measurement, optimization – into our platform.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital advertising, data products and pricing, supply chain dynamics, and quality assurance processes, along with a passion for data‑driven decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Partnership Development:
    Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with a diverse set of data providers to enhance the DSP's data offerings.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management:
    Lead negotiations for data partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Data Integration:
    Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate new data sources into the DSP, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
  • Market Analysis:
    Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape related to data partnerships in the digital advertising ecosystem.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    Establish KPIs to measure the success of data partnerships and regularly report on performance to senior management.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align data partnership strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies that may impact supply quality and marketplace dynamics.
  • Thought Leadership:
    Represent PulsePoint at industry events, conferences, and forums to promote our data capabilities and partnerships.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in data partnerships, business development, or a related role within the digital advertising or technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing partnerships.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with programmatic advertising and DSP technologies is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team, even in situations where they are not the direct reporting manager.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data‑driven decisions.

Time zone: 9am-6pm ET preferred, but also open to PT/MT/CT hours

Target salary range

$160-175k base + 16-17.5k target annual bonus based on company and individual performance

Selection Process
  • Initial Phone Screen (30 minutes)
  • Hiring Manager Interview (30 minutes)
  • Team Interview (30 minutes each with 2 people this role will be working closely with)
  • Case Study
  • Reference Checks (2-3 references)
