Title: Senior Assortment Planner
Pay: $39.33 $ 42.14/hour
Hours: Monday Friday;
Standard Business Hours (Friday Work From Home)
Location: 1 Bowerman Drive, Beaverton, OR 97005 (Hybrid Onsite with Fridays WFH)
Overview
Seeking a Senior Assortment Planner to support global demand planning and assortment planning initiatives. This role is responsible for developing seasonal assortment plans, forecasting sales, inventory, and margin performance, and partnering cross-functionally to drive profitable, consumer-focused product strategies. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, advanced Excel expertise, and experience in assortment, inventory, and financial planning.
Job Description
Develop seasonal assortment plans aligned with financial goals and consumer demand
Create style and color-level forecasts for sales, margin, and inventory
Utilize statistical forecasting, analytics, and data-driven methodologies to improve planning decisions
Analyze product performance and identify risks, opportunities, and forecast variances
Present forecasts, financial plans, and strategic recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
Partner with Merchandising, Finance, Sales, Marketplace Planning, Business Planning, Supply Planning, and Product teams
Support manufacturing decisions through bottom-up demand and inventory forecasts
Monitor business performance and recommend actions to optimize results throughout the product lifecycle
Develop and communicate assortment strategies that balance profitability, productivity, and consumer needs
Leverage data insights to support in-season optimization and responsive product offerings
Required Skills
3 5 years of experience in assortment planning, demand planning, merchandise planning, inventory planning, or related fields
Experience leveraging statistical forecasting and data analytics to support business decisions
Strong understanding of financial planning, product planning, and inventory management
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to communicate complex data and influence stakeholders through insights and storytelling
Experience presenting financial plans, forecasts, and business strategies
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of consumer behavior and marketplace trends
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Nike experience
Experience working in consumer products, retail, apparel, footwear, or merchandising environments
Strong knowledge of assortment planning methodologies and forecasting tools
Passion for data-driven decision making and continuous improvement
