The Advisory Services Consultant - EDS

EDS consultants combine deep healthcare expertise with AI‑enabled delivery approaches, leveraging data-driven tools to accelerate insights, improve decision-making, and drive measurable outcomes across complex enterprise initiatives. Engagements are delivered through a range of structured consulting delivery models that are tailored to client needs, scope, and organizational maturity.

For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with business and technology teams to identify issues, establish objectives, develop recommendations, and implement solutions for our clients

* Perform project management duties including work plan development, stakeholder management, and creation of engagement artifacts for clients

* Leverage AI‑enabled tools to support and accelerate consulting delivery activities while improving efficiency and outcomes

* Monitor, manage, and document project milestones, deliverables, and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle, proactively identifying emerging issues and driving appropriate actions to maintain project alignment and momentum.

* Develop, communicate, and execute comprehensive project risk and issue management plans, including mitigation and escalation strategies to minimize impact and ensure successful delivery

* Drive outcomes without direct authority, engaging team members in a cross-functional environment

* Conduct research studies that may include collecting, analyzing, trending, and presenting data and recommendations to management

* Define, develop, and document business requirements to ensure clients' needs are captured and delivered

* Work closely with Developers, Quality Assurance Analysts, Architects, Business Partners, and other Technology teams to ensure requirements and design are completely understood

* Assist in quality assurance and user acceptance testing by writing test scripts, executing test cases, and documenting defects

* Effectively build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients

* Provide clear communications (oral and written) and share knowledge at all levels of the organization

* Ensure that the engagement performs consistent with expected client value and internal financial targets

Limited travel may be required for this role (less than 25% on average over a year's time but may involve Monday through Thursday travel for multiple concurrent weeks to satisfy specific client project requirements).
