Proposals Senior Manager – GDIT – Falls Church, VA

• Lead development of complex, voluminous proposals for enterprise and multi‑billion dollar opportunities in cooperation with the Capture Manager and multidisciplinary team.
• Interact with senior leadership, capture manager, program/project manager, account manager, and other stakeholders throughout proposal development before and after the RFP.
• Develop proposal strategy that delivers a high‑quality, compliant, and compelling proposal, maximizing win probability.
• Manage compliance and timely submission, controlling all proposal activities against the schedule and RFP requirements within GDIT’s business environment.
• Lead the creation of storyboards, mock‑ups, and iterations across all proposal volumes—including cost—until the final submission.
• Conduct structured proposal kick‑off meetings to establish the plan, responsibilities, and expectations of all authors and contributors.
• Conduct or coordinate proposal color reviews, ensuring actionable comments and recommendations from the review teams.
• Communicate and lead technical experts and proposal center staff—including desktop publishing, production, and graphics—to achieve proposal objectives.
• Coach subject‑matter experts and contributors in persuasive writing.
• Present proposal effort to GDIT leadership, including CEO, during reviews and presentations.

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science;
• 5+ years of related experience managing and developing complex, voluminous proposals exceeding $100 million;
• APMP Certified – Foundation;
• Demonstrated experience with proposal management artifacts (schedule, outline, compliance matrix, kick‑off, storyboards, mock‑ups, color‑review briefs/de‑briefs, etc.);
• Strong time‑management, prioritization, English language, attention to detail, and decision‑making judgment;
• Advanced MS Word and MS Office skills;
• Strong people‑management, planning, and RFP skills;
• Must be a US Person (citizen or permanent resident);
• Eligible to obtain necessary clearance (none required now).

• Hybrid work schedule: 3+ days per week in the GDIT office, Falls Church, VA; remaining days allow remote work as necessary.
• Travel requirement: 10–25% of time.
• Salary range: $154,700 to $209,300 (base pay, commensurate with experience).
