Overview
To execute Etihad’s commercial strategy for Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), ensuring optimal revenue generation, market share growth, and strong partnership management. The role will focus on driving performance through strategic negotiations, data‑driven insights, and alignment with Etihad’s overall distribution and commercial objectives.
Accountabilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with global and regional OTAs to maximize Etihad’s visibility and competitiveness in line with business strategy.
- Act as the primary point of contact for OTA partners, ensuring timely resolution of issues and alignment on joint business plans.
- Develop and execute implementation plans based on OTA commercial strategies aligned with Etihad’s distribution objectives.
- Monitor OTA performance metrics (sales, revenue, market share, CoS) and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, commission structures, and marketing partnerships to deliver ROI.
- Utilize market intelligence and analytics to identify trends, customer behaviour, and competitive positioning.
- Provide actionable insights to optimize pricing, inventory, and promotional activities across OTA channels.
- Work closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Digital teams to ensure OTA strategies complement overall commercial goals.
- Support integration of OTA initiatives with Etihad’s NDC and digital distribution roadmap.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (master’s preferred).
- 7 plus years of solid experience in airline distribution, OTA management, or relevant travel industry commercial roles.
- Technical know‑how: familiarity with OTA technology platforms, API connectivity, NDC standards, and digital distribution systems.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
