Contract Deductions / Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Overland Park, KS (Hybrid – remote on Fridays)

Duration: Approximately 4 months (with potential for extension)

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Deductions / Accounts Receivable Specialist to support a high-volume AR team. This role will focus on researching and resolving customer deductions and short-paid invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in root cause analysis within an AR environment.

• Research and resolve customer deductions and short-paid invoices
• Perform root cause analysis on discrepancies and billing issues
• Issue credit memos and process necessary adjustments
• Review order entry for accuracy and identify potential errors
• Apply credits to open deductions and reconcile accounts
• Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of deduction activity

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, deductions, or short pays
• Experience performing root cause analysis and resolving discrepancies
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems preferred
• Hybrid schedule with work-from-home Fridays
