This full‑time Landscape Maintenance Account Manager role is a hybrid position based in Bellingham, MA, with a mix of on‑site client visits, location based team collaboration, and some work from home. The Landscape Maintenance Account Manager oversees a portfolio of commercial maintenance accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and ensuring their properties are maintained to company standards.
Daily responsibilities include conducting site walks, identifying maintenance needs, preparing proposals, and coordinating landscape, seasonal color, and snow services with internal teams. The role includes client contract management, reviewing work quality, addressing client concerns, and recommending enhancements to improve property appearance and value. The Account Manager also supports budgeting and forecasting for assigned accounts, monitors contract compliance, and ensures all work meets safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.
- Experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture, or a related field, with the ability to assess plant health, turf conditions, irrigation needs, and overall site quality.
- Account management or customer service background, including managing client relationships, handling inquiries or concerns, and presenting service options or property enhancements.
- Operational and organizational skills such as coordinating multiple jobs, tracking work orders, and managing vendors or subcontractors.
- Basic business and financial acumen, including understanding of contracts, pricing, proposals, and budget monitoring for maintenance accounts.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, team members, and leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to seasonal demands and changing site conditions.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, scheduling tools); experience with landscape management or CRM software is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety practices and regulations related to landscape maintenance, equipment operation, and snow services.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly to client sites in and around Bellingham, MA.
