Join a dynamic, fully remote team as a Time & Labor Analyst supporting a large, multistate workforce. In this contract position, you will play a critical role in timecard management, compliance, and payroll data accuracy using industry-leading platforms like Oracle Maestro and Deltek Costpoint. Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day time and attendance operations for a multistate workforce using Oracle Maestro and Deltek Costpoint
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage-and-hour laws, including overtime and break requirements
- Monitor, audit, and process timecard submissions, approvals, exceptions, and edits for data accuracy and timely payroll transfer
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies in timecards, schedules, pay codes, and exception logs
- Partner with Payroll, Finance, and Government Compliance to ensure precise posting of labor hours and transactions to the general ledger
- Configure and maintain timekeeping system rules, schedules, pay rules, charge codes, and labor categories
- Support investigations into timekeeping violations and assist with internal process reviews or audits
- Produce and analyze reports for audits, compliance reviews, and operational leadership
- Train and guide managers and employees on timekeeping procedures and system use
- Assist with system enhancements, testing, and implementation of new functionalities or regulatory updates

Required Skills and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, HR, or related field preferred
- 2-4 years' experience in time and labor administration or payroll operations
- Proficiency in Oracle Maestro and/or Deltek Costpoint
- Strong understanding of federal and state labor laws and wage-and-hour regulations
- Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet tight deadlines
- Effective communicator with strong partnership skills across functional teams
- Skilled in Excel and comfortable with complex datasets

Preferred Skills

- Experience supporting large, multistate work forces
- Familiarity with government contract compliance or cost accounting environments
- Knowledge of ledger posting practices and labor cost allocation
- Experience supporting overtime compliance audits
