Position: Charitable Programs Analyst (Departmental Analyst 9-P11)

Overview

This position supports the Michigan Education Trust (MET) Director by developing, analyzing, and reporting on charitable programs. It includes fundraising, marketing, outreach, and scholarship administration with a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the MET Director with charitable program design, development, research, data collection, budgeting, evaluation, analysis, and impact reporting.
  • Engage, secure, and track donors, sponsors, vendors, and customers.
  • Coordinate marketing and public relations efforts, including creation and dissemination of communications collateral.
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend outreach and engagement events to raise awareness and participation in MET charitable programs.
  • Serve as the administrative liaison for MET scholarships and affiliated awards.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in any major.
  • Professional

    Experience:
    • Departmental Analyst 9:
      No specific type or amount of experience required.
    • Departmental Analyst 10:
      One year of professional experience.
    • Departmental Analyst P11:
      Two years of professional experience, including one year at the intermediate level in state service.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Minimum 9 years of post‑college education or equivalent experience qualifies for level 9; higher levels require additional experience.
Work Arrangement

This position allows remote work on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with onsite work required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The remote workspace must be secure and free of distractions, and a reliable internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is required.

Location

Work must be performed in the state of Michigan. Candidates residing outside Michigan must relocate prior to appointment, as relocation expenses are not reimbursed.
