Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Capital Administrator – Level 3 or 4, to join the space systems sector Capital Administration team. This individual will lead Capital Administration for both functional organizations and divisions residing within the sector’s western region. This individual can work out of any of our major space locations. We may consider a remote working scenario for this role.
This position can be filled at either Level 3 or 4.
In this job, you will:- Review project requests for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Sector Capital procedures, as well as alignment with the Sector Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Create and manage SAP artifacts for all approved project requests (projects, WBS elements, networks, budgets & schedules, etc.).
- Collaborate with project execution leads throughout project execution, ensuring timely in-service of completed assets as well as meeting cost & schedule targets.
- Minimize Assets Under Construction (AUC) balances, completing asset capitalizations shortly after asset in-service, and presenting at quarterly AUC burndown SOX compliance reviews.
- Maintain capitalization accountability records.
- Obtain inputs, model, and submit monthly forecasting of Capital expenditure and Depreciation, including providing variance to budget explanations.
- Participate in monthly leadership status reviews of Capital.
- Support internal and external audit inquiries.

- Level 3: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or similar field – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant professional experience in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or similar field.
- Level 4: Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant professional experience in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or similar field – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant professional experience in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or similar field.
- Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Proficiency using SAP ERP.
- Strong experience with MS Office products (specifically Excel).
- Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data.
- Ability to work during normal Pacific Time (PT) business hours (for example, 8am – 5pm PT).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
